The following experts have joined IBR’s Scientific Advisory Board:

William T. Frankenberger, Ph.D.


Dr. Frankenberger is a professor of Soil Microbiology and Biochemistry in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Frankenberger has authored or co-authored over 200 publications, including, Phytohormones in Soils: Microbial Production and Function, and Ethylene: Sources and Applications.

Joseph W. Kloepper, Ph.D.

Dr. Kloepper is a Professor and Head of the Department of Plant Pathology at Auburn University and the Director of the Biological Control Institute at Auburn University. He is author or co-author of over 180 scientific papers, refereed reviews and book chapters. His research has been directed at the use of beneficial bacteria as microbial inoculants to promote plant growth and provide biological disease control.

James E. Rahe, Ph.D.


Dr. Rahe is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. His research interests are focused on the biology and control of plant diseases. He has authored or co-authored approximately 60 research papers in refereed international journals.

Eric Triplett, Ph.D.


Dr. Triplett is a Professor of Agronomy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include molecular microbial ecology and biological nitrogen fixation with specific focus on the study of nitrogen-fixing bacteria.
