IBR is committed to an ongoing R & D program, which serves
to unlock and further define the potential benefits of its products.
IBRs steadfast commitment to research and development is evident
from the following:
- IBR has successfully conducted over 100 trials in the 2001-2004 period, with an on-going additional trials program.
Highlights from these trials:
- Significant yield increase in potato trials; more importantly demonstrated improvement in the quality and unit value of the potatoes
- Demonstrated improvements in yields of blueberries
- Positive data from the trials in turf have resulted in on-going sales to commercial golf courses and sport's fields
- Promising results reported from trials conducted in South East Asia on leafy vegetables out-performing conventional applications
- Encouraging results on carrots and cotton
- A thirty percent increase in yields on tomatoes
- Current trials have been expanded to include rice and aquaculture in Asia, and disease control on fruits, hops and vegetables in North America
